La Cena Piemontese – A culinary visit to the Langhe

La Cena Piemontese • September 24th

On Sunday, September 24th, Sentieri Italiani and friends met at Osteria Langhe in Chicago’s Logan Square for an evening of slow food and fine wine. Grazie to co-owners Aldo Zaninotte and Chef Cameron Grant and the staff for giving us this opportunity to experience a taste of the cuisine of Daniela’s home-region.

Smiling faces abound at Sentieri’s Piemontese dining experience.
Is that a halo above Daniela’s head? (Bottom right)

Our four-course feast consisted of Vitello Tonnato; Plin prepared with la tur, parmesan, thyme and butter; Bistecca served with crispy potatoes, blistered tomatoes, and salsa verde; and ended sweetly with Torta di Nocciole.
