ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival & Welcome
• Meet at Caselle Airport (TRN) in Turin • Private Bus to Barbera e Tulipani B&B near Asti • Welcome aperitivo and dinner at accommodation
Day 2: Casale Monferrato Tour
• Half-day guided tour of this historic city • Visit the renowned Krumiri Rossi bakery • Afternoon lessons in Italian language and culture • Dinner at accommodation
Day 3: Rice Experience
• Visit Tenuta Colombara for a history of rice tour (includes a rice-focused lunch) • Lessons and relaxation at Barbera & Tulipani with aperitivo
Day 4: Infernot & Wine Experience
• Minibus to CellaMonte for Ecomuseum and Infernot wine cellar • Wine tasting and dinner at a CellaMonte restaurant
Day 5: Lavender Fields Forever (May/June)
• Visit a processer of lavender that creates oils, perfumes and beauty products in Castelnuovo Don Bosco • Lunch and dinner included
Day 5: Truffle Experience (October/November)
• Explore Moncalvo Truffle Fair and its local products • Free time for shopping • Truffle hunt with local guide • Truffle-based dinner prepared by a private chef with a cooking lesson included
Day 6: Hazelnut Discovery
• Visit a hazelnut farm in the Asti area plus degustation • Dinner at Barbera & Tulipani
Day 7: Not Just Wine — The Grappa Experience
• Italian language and culture lesson • Visit to a local grappa distillery including tour and degustation • Lunch at a local restaurant • Return to Barbera e Tulipani for a relaxed afternoon and farewell drinks with snacks and entertainment
Day 8: Touring Turin / Torino
• Transfer to Turin and check in at a centrally located hotel • Guided tour of the city center and Turin’s royal palaces • Afternoon is free • Lunch and dinner on your own
