Today we visited the Salone del Gusto, taking place just outside of Turin. This event is Slow Food’s bi-annual convention where members and exhibitors come from all over the world. Turin is the home to the Slow Food’s founder, Carlo Petrini. The expo is divided into four sectors. The first three are northern, central and southern Italy. The fourth sector is “Terra Madre” where exhibitors from all over the world can be found. From the participation of both exhibitors and visitors, it is clear to see what a large and widespread moment Slow Food has become.
