Sentieri welcomed our guests for an evening devoted to the culture and cuisine of Puglia. The program began with a brief presentation offering insight into the region’s traditions, towns and cuisine, followed by a buffet that brought those flavors to the table. Guests enjoyed a selection of classic Pugliese dishes, including insalata cialledda with tomatoes, cucumbers and toasted bread; focaccia Barese; the bold and distinctive spaghetti all’assassina; orecchiette with rapini; grilled Barese salsiccia with peppers; and cozze scoppiate prepared with oil and garlic. Together, the presentation and shared meal reflected Sentieri’s mission of connecting people to Italy through authentic regional experiences.
